Mary E. (Danforth) Ducharme Mary E. (Danforth) Ducharme , 85, of Taunton, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2009 at the Life Care Center of Raynham. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo (Duke) Ducharme. Born October 8, 1923 in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late James L. Danforth and Helen (Cook) Danforth. Raised and educated in Hamilton, where she was a 1941 graduate of Hamilton High School. Mrs. Ducharme retired from the City of Brockton where she worked at the Brockton High School as a Cafeteria Worker. She was a Brockton resident for almost 30 years then moving to Taunton for 28 years and most recently living at the Life Care Center of Raynham. She loved walking, ceramics, and summers at Cape Cod beaches. She belonged to St. Paul's Church in Taunton. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Ducharme of Taunton; her son, James Ducharme and his wife Emmy of South Easton. Funeral Information Private services will be held with interment in the VA National Cemetery, Bourne.
