Obituary

Mary C. (Anderson) Dugan age 81 of Brockton died Wednesday October 5, 2011 at Champion Rehabilitation and Health Center after a period of failing health. She was the loving wife of the late Leo J. Dugan, Jr. (ret. Captain BFD). Mary was born and educated in Brockton a daughter of the late Marie E. (Foley) and Chester A. Anderson, Jr. and remained a lifelong resident of the city.
Mary was devoted to her home and family and enjoyed country music and time spent with her family and friends. She was a long time parishioner of St. Edward Church.
Mary is survived by her seven children Joseph E. Dugan of Taunton, John T. Dugan, Marie H. Silva and her husband Rodney, Allen F. Dugan, Kathleen A. McPeck, Daniel W. Dugan and Michael R. Dugan all of Brockton. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elinor Mottau, Helena Bukin, John, Chester and Tom Anderson.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday 4-7 pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Parish at 10:30 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
