Obituary

Mary C. Ennis (Kiney) age 83, of Bridgewater, formerly of Easton, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at her home with her son Paul by her side. She was the wife of the late John A. Ennis.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mary L. (Lydon) Kiney.

She moved to West Bridgewater in 1972 before settling in Easton. Mary worked as a nursing assistant at the Brockton Veterans Administration Medical Center for twenty-six years before retiring in 2009.

A quiet woman, she loved her dog, Buddy and cat, Owen as well as spending time at her trailer in Easton.

Mary is survived by her children, Deborah Marcroft of Ashland, NH, Merri Gauthier of Bridgewater, Paul Gauthier of Bridgewater, and John Gauthier of Taunton; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Lydon Gauthier, George Gauthier, and Thomas Gauthier and sister of the late Veronica Goodwin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10:00 am, at Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton, followed by interment in Pine Hill Cemetery in West Bridgewater.
