Obituary

Mary S. (Vacca) Infussi, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at South Shore Hospital following a very brief illness. Born February 16, 1926, she was a lifelong resident of Brockton, MA and graduated from Brockton High School in the class of 1945. Mary was the eldest daughter of the late Armando and Elisabeth (Nardelli) Vacca. In 1950 she married the love of her life Mario Infussi and they had 62 wonderful years together until his passing in 2011. They made a happy home together where she raised their children and helped him run his small business C&I Electric, Co. When she wasn't out playing bingo or line dancing with her friends, she was with Mario taking a ride to one of their favorite places to eat or at home cooking everyone a nice Italian meal. She also spent many days lounging by their pool with her grandchildren, but never during the Price Is Right, she loved her TV game shows! In recent years, Mary enjoyed time by the beach celebrating the 4th of July and our family's annual "Lobsterfest" where she was always the first in line for the lobster. Mary was the loving mother of Patricia M. Conley and her husband James J. Jr. of Brockton, Richard M. Infussi and his wife Claire of Berkley, and Donna M. Cassaro and her husband Joseph of Canton. Beloved grandmother to Alexis (Conley) Ranelli and her husband Jay of West Bridgewater, Christopher Conley and his wife Krysten of West Bridgewater, Nicole (Cassaro) Lyon and her husband Matthew of Medford, Joseph Cassaro and his wife Courtney of Braintree and Ashley (Infussi) Clapper and her husband Michael of Fall River. She was also very fortunate to have six great grandchildren Kendall and Camden Conley, Luca Lyon, Harper and Hunter Clapper, and Vincent Cassaro. Mary was predeceased by her brother Joseph Vacca and her two sisters Nellie (Vacca) Giardello and Elizabeth "Bette" (Vacca) FitzMaurice. Just a few days before she passed Mary told her nurses that she was 95 and had lived a great life and if tomorrow never came she would leave happy…and so she did. Private Family Services will be held.
