Mary Virginia (Colell) Kamel Mary Virginia (Colell) Kamel , 79, of Brockton, died Friday evening, April 27, 2007 at the West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton after a lengthy illness. Born March 17, 1928 in Dover, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Peter Colell and Annie (Kamel) Colell. Raised in Dover she attended Dover Schools. Mrs. Kamel retired from Moore Business Forms and she had previously worked at Daeris Tea Room, worked for GE in Somersworth, New Hampshire, was a hostess at James's Restaurant, which was owned by her brother, and was also a Dental Assistant for Dr. Harold Nossif in Dover, New Hampshire. She has been a Brockton resident since 1979 and had previously lived in Dover, New Hampshire. She was a communicant of St. George Maronite Church while living in Dover and a communicant of St. Theresa Maronite Catholic Church in Brockton. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and traveling. She also enjoyed entertaining and spending time with family. Virginia was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was very kind, generous, thoughtful, and supportive especially to her family. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Milliken and her husband Parker of Brockton; her grandchildren, Tyler Milliken and Mariah Milliken both of Brockton; her twin sister, Jeannette M. Saba of West Bridgewater; her sisters Lorraine Haley of Dover, New Hampshire, and Angelina Buckley of Dover, New Hampshire; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the sister of the late Michael P. Colell, Sr., Joseph P Colell, Sr., James P. Colell, Sr., Madeline Dupont, and Emily Timmins. She was the close companion of the late Leon Cardinal. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton Wednesday 4:00-8:00PM with an Incense service at 6:30PM. Calling hours will continue at the Wiggin-Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home, 655 Central Ave., Dover, New Hampshire on Thursday 4:00-8:00PM. A Funeral service will be held in St. George Maronite Church, 15 Chapel St., Dover, New Hampshire on Friday at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover, New Hampshire.
