Obituary

Mary M. (Fagan) Kelley, 88 years, of Brockton died Friday July 31, 2009 at Morton Hospital, Taunton. She was the wife for 53 years of the late William R. Kelley. Mrs. Kelley was born in Boston and raised in East Boston, a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (McNeil) Fagan. She was formerly of Weymouth for 30 years and has been a resident of Brockton since 1997. Mary retired in 1983 from Boston City Hospital after 16 years and previously worked at University Hospital. Mary was a friendly, sociable resident of Belair Towers and enjoyed gatherings with her family and friends.

She is survived by a son, Edward R. Kelley and his wife Kathleen P. of Foxboro; a daughter, Linda M. Kelley of Brockton, 7 grandchildren, Michelle Richter, Michael Moore , Scott, Brian, Patrick, Shaun and Katie Kelley, 7 great grandchildren, Kevin, Tommy, Dylan and Owen Kelley, Alyssa, Megan and Daniel Moore and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Lois A. Yannizzi and sister of the late Josephine Thompson.


Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
