Obituary

Mary Jane (Sherys) Lausch age 70 of Brockton died peacefully at her home on Saturday August 16, 2014. She was born in Cambridge and raised in Arlington and lived in Brockton for the past 30 years. Mary Jane was a graduate of Somerville Hospital School of Nursing and had been a registered nurse at several local nursing homes. She retired 3 years ago from Cedar Hill Nursing Home in Randolph.
Mary Jane enjoyed reading, photography and vacations on the Cape. She was a pet lover and enjoyed holidays and time spent with her family.
She was the loving sister of Noreen Sherys and aunt of Jennifer Sherys-Rivet both of Cumberland, RI. She also leaves several cousins.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte.123) Brockton Friday 4-6 pm with a funeral service at 6 pm. Please consider donations in Mary Jane’s name to The Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts 1300 West Elm St. Ext., Brockton, MA 02301.
