Obituary

Mary S. (Maurath) Lomax, 81 years, of Brockton, died September 1, 2010 following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Lomax. Born in Winthrop, she was the daughter of the late Harry F. and Sophie C. (Drouin) Maurath. Mary had been a lifelong resident of Brockton and was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1948, and was a retired employee of the Brockton Enterprise. Mary enjoyed travel, bingo and had been a longtime communicant of St. Colman’s Church. She is survived by her friends Maria Ribeiro and Sr. Alice Arsineault both of Brockton. She was the sister of the late Doreen Pidgeon, William, Harry and Joseph Maurath.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Christ The King Parish at 9am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Visitation will be held Tuesday 8-8:30am.
