Mary E. (Kabotie) Mellman Mary I. (Kabotie) Mellman, 83, of Raynham and formerly of Bridgwater, died Sunday evening, September 30, 2007 at the Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the former wife of Merle W. Mellman and the late Edward Berg. Born January 23, 1924 in Santa Clara, New Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Frances Kabotie. Mrs. Mellman was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at the Brockton VA Medical Center for over 30 years. She enjoyed going to Bible School and was an active member of the Faith Church in Bridgewater. She recently moved to Raynham and had previously lived in Bridgewater and Brockton. She is survived by her children, Richard Berg of Brockton, Edward Berg and his wife Mary of Holbrook, and Elizabeth Gillette of Raynham; her grandchildren Michael and Matthew Berg; her sisters, Josephphita Swazo and Quala Frenier; her brother, Michael Kabotie; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday, October 4th at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Wednesday 4:00-8:00PM.
