Mendosa, of Brockton, April 29, 2002, Mary P. (Cummings) Mendosa, 69 years. Wife of the late John E. Mendosa, Beloved mother of Ann R. Keets of Brockton, Richard E. Mendosa and his wife Susan of Brockton, and Carol E. Mendosa of Pawtucket RI. Sister in law of Helen Winn of W. Bridgewater.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 1:00 PM. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8pm.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Mendosa died Monday, April 29, 2002, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, after a brief illness. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Rosamond (Washburn) Cummings. She attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1948. She had been employed as a cook at various local nursing homes. She enjoyed Bingo, cards, cooking, traveling and time spent with her family.

She is survived by 2 daughters Ann R. Keets of Brockton, and Carol E. Mendosa of Pawtucket RI and 1 son Richard E. Mendosa of Brockton. 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, She was the sister of the late Edward Cummings and Avis Campbell, grandmother of the late Mary Pearson.
