Online Obituaries Mary A. (Minerva) Ottaviano, 88, of Brockton, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at the Baypointe Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Brockton. She was the wife of Robert C. Ottaviano. Born January 9, 1928 in Brockton, MA she was a daughter of the late Cosimo and Ardele (Lombardi) Minerva. Raised and educated in Brockton, Mary was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1946. She worked as a secretary for Plymouth Rubber Company in Canton and then later as a cafeteria worker for the John F. Kennedy School in Brockton. Mary enjoyed dancing, reading and liked her trips to Foxwoods Casino. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Ottaviano; her children, Maria L. Ottaviano and Robert C. Ottaviano, Jr.; her granddaughters, Natalie and Danielle. She is also survived by her several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Louise (Minerva) Tarantino. Funeral Information Following Cremation a Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 16th at 1:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton. Interment will follow in the South Easton Cemetery, South Easton. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 11:00AM-1:00PM in the funeral home.
