Obituary

Mrs. Pierce died Friday morning at her home after a period of failing health. Born in Randolph, she was a daughter of the late Karl W. and Doris (Merrill) Truelson. She attended Randolph schools and had been a resident of Brockton for 48 years. Mary worked as a cashier in the cafeteria at Stonehill College for the past ten years, only leaving her position in August due to her health. She loved bingo, crafts and working in the garden.

She is survived by a daughter, LeeAnn Pierce-Geherty. Two grandsons, Shon-Karl and John Paul Geherty both of Brockton. A brother John Truelson and his wife Lorraine of Middleboro. A sister in law Barbara Truelson wife of the late Karl W. Truelson, Jr. and a cousin Mildred Forgione of Randolph. Survived by several nieces and nephews from Carver and Worcester. A dear friend to Peggy and Earl from Worcester and many close girlfriends from Brockton.
She was the wife of the late John L. Pierce, Jr.

Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
