Obituary

Mary E. (Fitzgerald) Pritchett, age 84, of Brockton, died on April 29, 2024 at Baypointe Rehabilitation Center. Mary was the loving wife of the late John B. Pritchett, Jr. She was born, raised and educated in Brockton, daughter of the late Edwin and Mary (Gibson) Fitzgerald.

Mary was dedicated to caring for veterans and for many years she owned and operated a veterans lodging home in Brockton. She enjoyed music, painting and coloring.

Mary was the sister of Jane Roux and her husband Lorne of East Falmouth and the late Michael Tierney, Edward Fitzgerald, Joseph Tierney, John Fitzgerald and Helen (Fitzgerald) Vaughan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, on Wednesday, May 8 from 9:30-10:30am, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30am. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
