Stack, of Barnstable, formerly of Brockton, March 30, 2006, Mary F. Stack, 93 years. Daughter of the late Patrick F. and Annie T. (Moran) Stack. Sister of the late Anne Loveday, William Stack and Rita Shinnick. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Friday 8-8:45 am.

Obituary Information

Mary F. Stack of Barnstable, formerly of Brockton, died Thursday evening at Cape Regency Nursing Home. Born, raised and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Patrick F. and Annie T. (Moran) Stack.

Miss Stack was a former Sister of the Franciscan Missionary of Mary for many years in both Massachusetts and Arizona. For 30 years she had been a teacher on a Navajo Indian Reservation in St. Michael’s AZ. When she returned to Massachusetts she was an art teacher in Brockton and Barnstable for many years. She enjoyed painting, Navajo artwork and embroidery and was an avid reader of Western World historical novels.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews and was the sister of the late Anne Loveday, William Stack and Rita Shinnick.
