Maryann (Smith) Dodge, 59, of Brockton passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at her home. She was the wife of Clyde A. Dodge. Born in Brockton on June 2, 1961 she was the daughter of the late Donald M. Smith, Sr. and Ann M. (Hughes) Smith. She was a 1979 graduate of Brockton High School. Maryann worked for many years at UPS in Brockton as an operations management specialist and was a devoted wife and mother. She was loving, kind, and generous and enjoyed having fun with her nieces and nephews during family gatherings. She was an enthusiastic Patriots and Bruins fan and enjoyed boating with her family. Maryann also enjoyed antique cars and going to car shows. Maryann was a true "unknown fighter", courageously battling cancer for 16 years, never giving up with her family ringside fighting along with her all the way to the end. In addition to her husband, Clyde and her parents, Donald and Ann, Maryann is survived by her children, Michael M. Dodge and Melissa M. Dodge; siblings Donald M. Smith, Jr. and his partner Christine Zachary, Jacqueline A. Leonard and her husband Dana and Marlo J. Burgo and her husband John; nephews Justin R. Leonard and his wife Rachel, Nicholas Malone and Ryan Burgo; and nieces Skyla Burgo and Paighton Burgo. She is also survived by lovely aunts, cousins, many dear friends and extended UPS family. ***CHANGE IN SERVICE*** Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a public service has been canceled. A celebration of Maryann's life will be held at a later date when restrictions have been lifted.
