Obituary

Maryjo A. (Laramee) Thacker, age 67, of Brockton, died unexpectedly at her home on July 4, 2022. Born in Weymouth, she was the daughter of the late Harvey K. and Ann M. (Curtin) Laramee. She was one of seven children.

Maryjo was a frequent volunteer at St. Paul’s Soup Kitchen in Brockton for many years. She had a love of puzzles and pictures and displayed them throughout the walls of her home.

Maryjo is survived by her children, Trisha A. Thacker of Brockton, Robert I. Thacker III and his wife Leigh of Rockland, Matthew W. Thacker of Rockland and John Kalinowski of Bellingham. She was the grandmother of Connor Thacker of Rockland, Nicholas Thacker of Brockton, Brady Thacker of Rockland and Reese Thacker of Rockland. She was the sister of Kathleen Bonvouloir, Leslie Lally, Mark Laramee, Barry Laramee, Steven Laramee, Michele Rugnetta and the late Steven Hudson.

Maryjo’s children are welcoming family, friends and loved ones to celebrate her life on Sunday, July 10 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 440 Webster Street, Rockland, MA, from 2-5pm.
