Matias Alexander Fernandes passed away on Friday night 6/30/2023 surrounded by his loved ones cuddled up with his Mama and Daddy listening to his favorite music by Tabanka Djaz up on the rooftop of Boston's children's hospital!

Matias was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome(HLHS) a very severe form of congenital heart disease among many other medical complexities. He fought the fight for two years! He was a true heart warrior and fighter!

Matias was just a joy to be around such a happy little boy! He touched so many lives he was loved by so many! He loved music, dancing, Mickey Mouse, cuddling with his mama and daddy on his mat, and just being around his favorite people!

Matias is survived by his parents David and Ann Christina Fernandes, maternal grandparents Pedro and Ernestina Cardoso, Paternal grandparents Cristiano and Maria Fernandes, and many aunts,uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 6th from 10:00AM to 11:30AM with a funeral service at 11:30AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
