Matilda DePina Matilda DePina , 74, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. Born November 19, 1936 in Fogo, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Pereira and Jonia DePina. She is survived by her children, Vitalina Gelinat, Isabel Ramos, Maria Fernandes, Antonio Fonseca, Pedro DePina, Manuel Pires, Maria Teresa Pires, Maria Antonio Pires and Ludgero Pires; her siblings, Maria DaRosa, Luis Lopes and Quim Pereira; she is also survived by 55 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) on Thursday, September 29th at 10:00AM. Interment to follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
