Obituary

Matthew N. Stanbury, 23 years old of Brockton died May 2, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Trelawry, Jamaica a son of Charmain G. Gordon of Brockton. Matthew was a 2005graduate of Blue Hill Regional Vocational High School in Canton where he was a member of the football, track & field and basketball teams. He also graduated from UTI Automotive Technician School in Norwood.
He was a security guard for the Day & Zimmermann Security Service, Brockton. Matthew was a caring and lovable individual who loved people. What gave him the most enjoyment in life was his love for his family especially his mom and her hot chocolate. Matthew will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his brothers Luke and Mark Gordon of Brockton, his grandparents Norma and Weston Gallimore of Milton, an aunt, four uncles and many grand aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Friday May 14, from 10-12pm at The Brockton Foursquare Church The Church on the Rock , 421 Torrey St., Brockton. His Funeral Service will follow at 12 noon. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Matthew’s name may be made to The Matthew N. Stanbury Scholarship Fund c/o Bank of America, 826 Belmont St.,Brockton, MA 02301.
