Online Obituaries Matthew Vemis, 56, of Milford, MA, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014. He was the beloved son of the late Sofia and Vasilios Vemis and beloved brother of Elpida, Eleftheria, Ann and Roxanne. Matthew was born and grew up in Boston, MA. He attended Northeastern University and held positions in sales, was the proud owner of his pottery shop, Eclectic Clay Studio in Sturbridge, MA, and most recently was a part of Ultra Travel. He is survived by his four sisters, Elpida Keramidas and family, Eleftheria Theos and her husband William and family, Ann Stathakis and her husband Apostolos and family and Roxanne Vemis; his niece, Evelyn Minichello and her husband Nick and family; his nephews, Chuck Theos and his wife Christine and family, John Theos, Dimitri Theos, Eric Stathakis and Billy Stathakis. Funeral Information A Funeral Service will be held in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be held in the church on Tuesday from 9:00AM 11:00AM.
