Online Obituaries Maureen Moe (Norton) Bissett, 60, of Brockton, passed away Wednesday February 5, 2014 at home surrounded by her family after a 7 year battle with a Grade IV Glioblastoma. She was the wife of James Bissett. Born in Manchester, NH on April 18, 1953, Maureen moved to Brockton at the age of 3. She was the daughter of the late Robert Norton and Eleanor (Mulligan) Norton. Maureen graduated from Mater Dei Academy in 1971 and received her BS in Math from Bridgewater State College in 1993. She married James Bissett in 1975 and they lived together in Brockton where they raised their 2 daughters. Maureen was a Principal Data Lead for Fidelity Investments. She enjoyed dancing, playing Sudoku, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her spouse, James, she is survived by her two daughters, Allison (Bissett) Wright and her husband Dennis and Danielle (Bissett) Anderson and her husband Justin, all of West Bridgewater. She will always be remembered as Mimi by her four grandchildren, Jacqueline and Andrew Wright and Bailey and Riley Anderson, all of West Bridgewater; Maureen is also survived by her 9 brothers and sisters, Robert Norton, Shane Norton, Kevin Norton, Sheila Angelo, Patrick Norton, Charlene Lyons, William Norton, Norah Blum, and Bridget Middleton; her Aunt, Margaret Norton of FL; her Uncle, John Kazanowski, of TN; her uncle (Godfather), Charles Norton; also survived by 48 nieces and nephews, 63 great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins and close friends. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, February 8th at 9:30AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 439 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:30AM.
