Maureen E. "Nannie" (Coleman) Ekberg Maureen E. "Nannie" (Coleman) Ekberg , 69, of Brockton, passed away at the Charwell House in Norwood after enjoying 69 years of life. She was the former wife of Donald Ekberg of Florida. Born May 1, 1942 in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Michael Coleman and Elizabeth (McManus) Coleman. Raised in Taunton, she graduated from Taunton High School in 1960 and St. Anne's School of Nursing in Fall River in 1963. Maureen was a Nurse and had worked at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Brockton for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Michael D. Ekberg and his wife Kathy of Norwood and Sharyn M. LoGuidice of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Ava and Axel Ekberg, Nicholas, Jacob, Nora and Rebecca LoGuidice; her sister, Sheila Coleman of Taunton; she is also survived by her former son-in-law, John LoGuidice. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, October 5th from 10:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM.
