Maureen Niccoli, age 65, passed away on February 19, 2023 surrounded by her family. She fought a lengthy battle with cancer.
Maureen was the daughter of the late Joseph Callahan and Dorothy (Duffy) Callahan of Brockton. Maureen is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Steven Niccoli of Brockton. She was also survived by her two daughters: Kerri Witt of Brockton and her husband Steve Witt and Kristy Flores of Raynham and her husband Andres Flores. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy: Ryan, Zachary, Andy, Brady, Julianna, Natalia, Ava, Bria and Jaxson. Maureen had three brothers: Joseph Callahan, William Callahan and her late twin brother John Callahan. She had many beloved in-laws, nieces and nephews whom she will leave behind.
Maureen worked at Good Samaritan Medical Center emergency room for over 40 years. She was dedicated to her job and co-workers. Everyone she worked with loved her dearly.
Maureen is best known for her deep love for and devotion to her family. She enjoyed attending dance recitals, baseballs games, gymnastic meets and cheerleading competitions to support her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching the Patriots and going to casinos with her husband. She is best known for her famous chocolate chip squares.
Maureen loved life. She exemplified the true meaning of being the matriarch of her family. Creating memories is what she lived for. She loved her family with her whole heart.
Visitation will be held at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, Brockton on Saturday February 25th from 9 to 11:30 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater, MA.
