Online Obituaries Mauricio De Andrade, 82, of Brockton passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of the late Ana P. (Gomes) Andrade. Born February 20, 1930 in Fogo, Cape Verde he was the son of the late Francisco De Andrade and Maria (Jesus) Veiga Andrade. Raised and educated in Cape Verde, Mauricio was a mason by trade. He was a resident of Brockton for the last 30 years. He was a very hard worker and would always give good advice. Mauricio would have tremendous focus when he would speak. He was always there for his family. Mauricio loved his family and friends more than anything. He was a hero to his children and they want to thank him for the last dance. He was the loving father of Carlos R. Pires, Mauricia De Andrade, Emanuel De Andrade, Joao R. De Andrade, Joao G. De Andrade, Eva A. Teixeira, Maria Martinez, Vencelau De Andrade, Augusta Andrade, Eugene De Andrade and Oscar De Andrade. He was the brother of Maria S. Andrade Cula and the late Maria A. Teixeira and Idalina De Andrade. He is also survived by his 31 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 9:30AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 10:30AM.
