Online Obituaries Michael Anthony Carpentieri, Jr.,64 of Brockton passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the loving husband of Maureen Donaruma Carpentieri. Born September 17, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas he was the son of the late Michael A. and Geraldine M. (Capozzi) Carpentieri. Michael was a long time resident of Brockton and an officer of the South Middle School PAC. His first love was his family, second was the trips they took to Disney. Michael was retired but previously had worked for FedEx ground, at one time was the owner of Suburban Liquors in Abington, manager at the former ADAP and worked at the family owned Imperial Gas. In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons, Michael, III and Nicholas; his siblings, MaryAnna (Carpentieri) Schmid and her husband John D., Daniel E. Carpentieri and his wife Mary and Louis O. Carpentieri; sister in law, Eileen Carpentieri; nieces and nephews, Kelly A. Russo, Kristina L. Callina, Emily R. Carpentieri, J. Marcus Schmid, Aimee N. Carpentieri, Melissa Carpentieri, Catherine E. Carpentieri, Alexandra, William, and Timothy Donaruma and Jack and Lauren O'Donnell. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Thursday at 8:00AM thence to St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish 71 East Main St., Brockton where a funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 9:00AM.
