Obituary

Michael B. Casey, age 63, of Brockton, died August 5, 2021 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Albert and Marion (Uhrig) Casey. He was raised and educated in Dorchester and Marshfield and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 45 years. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a PDI Inspector by Toyota FAS in South Boston.

Michael was fun loving, unselfish and had a heart of gold. For many years he was active in rescuing Pit Bulls. The dogs came to be like family, especially Erin. He was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed sports trivia and spending time at the casino.

Michael was the brother of Janice McGonagle of Middleborough and Robert Casey of Brockton; uncle of Denise McGonagle and great uncle of Kendra, Jeremy and Jacob Dias.

Visitation will be held at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday August 12, from 4-6pm, followed by a funeral service at 6pm.
