Iacovo of Brockton, November 9, 2005, Michael Iacovo, 49 years. Beloved son of V. James and Evelyn (Andresen) Iacovo. Brother of Jim Iacovo of Canton; Peter Iacovo of Brockton and Pia Iacovo-Fortin, her husband Phil and their son Ben of Raynham.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am Funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish (formerly St. Colman) at 9 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm.

Obituary

Michael Iacovo 49 of Brockton died November 9, 2005 at Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton, he was the son of V. James and Evelyn (Andresen) Iacovo. He graduated from Brockton High School Class of 1973. He attended Bridgewater State College and graduated from Northeastern University, with a degree in Sciences and he also attended University of Michigan Medical School. He supervised the Boston University Toxicology Laboratory. He was a self employed contractor and owned Stonehouse Construction. During his illness he worked part time at home depot in the electrical dept. in Roxbury. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping and cooking.

He is survived by his parents, V. James and Evelyn (Andresen) Iacovo, two brothers Jim Iacovo of Canton and Peter Iacovo of Brockton, a sister Pia Iacovo-Fortin and her husband Phil and their son Ben of Raynham and aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.
