Obituary

Michael J. Lazaro, age 81, of Brockton, passed away on June 4, 2023, at Royal Health in Norwell.

Born in New Milford, CT, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Souza) Lazaro.

Mr. Lazaro served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1967.

He worked as head billing clerk for an electric company for many years.

Mike was a loving and caring person who enjoyed playing poker and spending time at the Alamo Café in Brockton. He was also a member of the Free Masons in Brockton and previously served as Grandmaster.

He leaves a sister, Shirley Galick of Harwinton, CT; a friend, Dawn Voci Vasil of Taunton; and his god children, Felisha and Chad Vasil both of Fall River.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend his interment with military honors on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at 11:30 am, in Calvary Cemetery, 163 N Cary Street, Brockton. Visiting hours will be respectfully omitted.
