Obituary

Michael F. “Mad Dog” Hayes, age 63 of Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died April 6, 2015 at Signature Healthcare-Brockton Hospital surrounded by family. Michael was born and raised in Brockton, son of the late Walter E. and A. Rose (DiNunno) Hayes. He was a 1969 graduate of Brockton High School and for over 20 years had been employed at Stonehill College. Michael loved to spend time with his sons, and enjoyed motorcycles, music, photography, drawing and Bocci ball. He had been a longtime member of the Bridgewater 49r’s.
Michael is survived by his sons Michael Jr. and Riley Hayes; stepchildren Kacie, Sean and Shaela Lamontagne; two sisters Mary DeMulis and her husband Robert and Helen Farrar and her husband Thomas; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces. He was the former husband of Kathleen (O’Brien) Hayes and brother of the late John Hayes.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 4-7pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Friday at 8am for a funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
