Michael "Mike" P. Rhode, 56, of Middleboro, passed away unexpectedly on August 23, 2024 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

Born in Boston on August 29, 1967, he was the son of Mary (Hartnett) Rhode and the late Charles Rhode.

Mike worked as a cook in local restaurants such as The Hideaway. He was a die hard New England Sports fan. He had a big heart and a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving wife Jessica D Matthews, his daughters Kristina Rhode, Tayla Rhode, and Alexis Rhode; his granddaughters Giovanna, Avery, and Harper; his Mother Mary Rhode; brothers Charlie Rhode, Joe Ketchum, Derek Ketchum, and Jason Ketchum. Also, many nieces and nephews and extended friends and family from California to Massachusetts.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Sunday, September 8th at The Hideaway restaurant, 9 Station St., Middleboro.
