Michael C. Pappas (Papadimopoulos), 99, of Brockton, passed away suddenly Friday, February 10, 2017 at BayPointe Skilled Care & Rehabilitation Center in Brockton. He was the beloved husband of 59 years of Elpis (Tremma) Pappas, and loving father of Paula Pappas and Marilyn Pappas-McAllister.
Born July 15, 1917, in Aidonohori, Kozani, Greece, he was the son of the late Constantinos and Panayiota Papadimopoulos.
He worked for A&B Tanning in Brockton and Wood Hu Kitchens in W. Bridgewater. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends and he was an avid reader. He was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton.
He is survived by his wife, Elpis (Tremma) Pappas; his daughters, Paula Pappas and Marilyn Pappas-McAllister; his son-in-law, Mark McAllister; and his cherished grandson, Alexander Michael Pappas-McAllister. He is also survived by many loved ones in Greece. He was the brother of the late Thomai Jamoulis and the uncle of the late Evripides and Bella Jamoulis.

Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (RT 28) WEST BRIDGEWATER on Saturday, February 18th at 11:00AM followed by a funeral service at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 12:30PM. Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, WEST BRIDGEWATER on Friday 5:00-8:00PM.
