Saraiva of Onset May 2, 2002, Michael T. Saraiva, Sr.63 years. Father of Michelle M. Saraiva; Michael T. Saraiva, Jr. and Kevin M. Saraiva all of Onset. Grandfather of Haylee, Olivia and Nicholas. Former husband of Ruth C. (Walsh) Saraiva.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 BelmontSt. (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Margaret Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 4-8 pm. Mr. Saraiva died Thursday at his home after a lingering illness. Born in Brockton, son of Antonia (Coito) Saraiva of Brockton and the late Michael Saraiva. Raised and educated in Brockton. Graduate of Brockton High School. He had been a resident of Onset for the past 25 years. He was a self employed contractor. Avid boater, enjoyed fishing and was also a car buff.
