Obituary

Michael F. Sellars 55 years, of Avon died Monday May 18, 2009 at Good Samaritan Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton and raised and educated in Avon, he was the son of Richard B. Sellars, Sr. of Avon and the late Mary “Betty” Wills and remained a lifelong resident of Avon. He had worked for several years for Shaws and previously for Coca Cola Bottling Company. Michael was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, the ocean and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was also a lover of all animals.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his two sons, Michael P. Petti of CT and Jason Sellars of Norton. He was the brother of Cheryl Williams of Braintree, Mark Sellars of Taunton and the late Ricky Sellars. Michael was the devoted companion of Robin A. Romano of Avon. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
