Our beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle Michel Jackson Manuel, of Randolph, MA, passed away unexpectedly in Florida on Tuesday, August 5th, 2014 at the age of 47. Michel is survived by his wife of 15 years Lydia Manuel, his daughter Michelydie and son Micah Manuel, all of Randolph, MA; his parents Clemencia and Buteau Manuel of Palm Bay, FL; his brother Anderson and wife Cynthia Manuel of Leominster, MA; his sister Clarelle and husband Lawrence Sarrasin of Palm Bay, FL; his sister Naomi Manuel of Fort Lauderdale, FL; his nephews Isaiah and Jordan Manuel and Divad Sarrasin and his niece Lawrielle Sarrasin. He was preceded in death by his sister Mona Manuel.
Michel was born in Haiti on November 23, 1966 and emigrated to the United States at the age of 13.
He was a graduate of Boston English High School, received a Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters degree in Social Work from Boston University. Michel worked for many years as a social worker and was a division leader for Primerica Financial Services for 13 years.
Michel faced his recent battle with Multiple System Atrophy as he did with everything else in his life - through his signature sense of humor, unwavering faith in God and optimistic attitude. He was a talented musician and devoted member of his church community. He also loved to cook and especially loved his mothers Haitian stew.

Funeral Information
A Funeral Service will be held int the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St. (Rt 123) Brockton on Wednesday, August 13th at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl St., Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5:00-8:30PM.
