It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike "Mizz" Jonas, age 40, of Brockton, Massachusetts. Mike was a devoted father, a beloved son, brother, partner, cousin, and friend whose kindness and spirit touched everyone who knew him.

Born and raised in Brockton, Mike was the son of Harold Jonas and the late Viviane Bordes. He carried a lifelong passion for basketball and was known for his good energy, loyalty, and big heart. But above all else, Mike's greatest joy was being a dad. His children — Lashaun, Nyekhi, and Milani — were his pride and purpose, and he poured every bit of himself into their lives.

Mike leaves behind his father Harold Jonas, his sister Deena Simon and her husband Donald Leon, his cherished children Lashaun Kirkland, Nyekhi Levesque, and Milani Jonas. He is also survived by his niece and nephew Donna and Donnel Leon, his best friend and cousin Noldy Faustin, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever remember his laughter, warmth, and unwavering love for his family.

Mike's spirit will continue to shine brightly through his children and all who were blessed to know him. Though his life ended too soon, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 15th from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
