Mildred Millie (Wright) Covel, 81 passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at the Nemasket Healthcare Center in Middleboro. She was the wife of the late George P. Covel of Middleboro.
She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Madlen (Whitcome) Wright. Millie had been employed at Alden Shoe in Middleboro for many years. She will be remembered as a fun loving, kind and devoted, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister. She enjoyed crafts and making and decorating cakes for family and friends as well as drinking iced coffee.
Survivors include, sons Richard Tanguay and his wife Donna, William Tanguay and his wife Deborah, Stephen Tanguay and his wife Lei, George Covel and his wife Laurie; daughters, Beth Devine and her husband Brian, Kelli Covel and her partner Lee Eckhart, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren;
her brothers, Wayne Wright, Carroll Zeke Wright, Reginald Wright, and sister Elizabeth Betty Pittsley. She was the sister of the late, Clifford Wright, Roland Wright, Joanne Burch-Sherman, Beneta Neville, and Nancy Kennedy.
Funeral Information
Calling hours will be held from 11:00AM- 2:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., West Bridgewater on Sunday, May 21st followed by a prayer service in the funeral home at 2:00PM. Interment will be private.
