Mildred (Robison) Dumas “Millie” 58 years, died February 27, 2013 in the Braemoor Nursing and Rehab Center in Brockton where she had been a resident for the past year. Prior to her time in Brockton she was a resident at the River Bay Club in Quincy for more than ten years. There she was a member of the residents’ council advocating for friends and residents alike. Millie worked for many years for State Street Bank holding several positions among those being the Lead Secretary to the Marketing department and its Vice Presidents, only stopping due to illness.
She had a great love for animals but a special place for her kitties. She enjoyed, watching old movies and award shows, and as a young person enjoyed reading. She spent her summers in the Berkshires with family and exploring the wonders of Tanglewood. Millie will be remembered as a lady who cared deeply for people suffering life’s limitations; a person with a wonderful sense of humor; a realistic life view and one who had to have the last word.
