Milton Kallianidis, 92, of Brockton, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at West Acres Nursing Home.

Born in Kilkis, Greece in 1932. Son of Eustathios and Maria Kallianidis. Hen graduated from the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece with a degree in electrical engineering.

In 1959 he married Isminie (Caramihas) Kallianidis and came to the United States the same year, settling in Brockton, Massachusetts. He was married for 44 years until her death in 2003.

He worked for Duracell for over 30 years in battery testing and development during which time he was awarded many patents.

He was a member of the YMCA in Brockton for many years and began running in his early 50s. He competed in road races in the Brockton area and won several races in his age category. He enjoyed growing tomatoes, his steam baths at the Y, and following the stock market.

His greatest passion was his family- his wife and children, and later in life, his grandchildren.

He leaves behind his daughter Christine and her husband Dr. Valentino Tramontano of Brockton, and his son, attorney Stanley Kallianidis and his wife Lisa of Bourne, Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Isabel Tramontano, Marinez Tramontano and Michael Kallianidis.

Visitation will be held from the Russell and Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, Brockton, (Rt123) on Thursday, September 26th from 5 to 7 pm. His funeral services will be at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak Street, Brockton on Friday, September 27th at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton, MA.
