It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mitchell Dikmak. Born May 17, 1940 in Central Falls, RI, the son of the late Samuel and Adele (Hawaweeny). The third of four children, Mitchell was raised in Boston. He was a bank fraud investigator for over forty years.
He was the proud father of Michelle Mirowski, and her late husband Gregory, of Weymouth and David Dikmak, and his long time partner Joanne Lavey, of Brockton. He leaves his cherished grandchildren Stefan, Mitchell, Ella, Max and Leah. Mitchell also leaves his brother Elias Dikmak of North Chelmsford and dear friend Nancy LaMonica of Brockton as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Joan Dikmak and Vivian Ventola as well as ex-wife and dear friend Pamela Baker Sampson.
Mitchell was a devout Catholic and dutifully served the Church in many different ministries, with a particular fondness for faith formation and youth group. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved the Boston Red Sox. He took great pride as the number one fan watching his grandchildren play hockey.
