Obituary

Mona A. (Daley) Fraser, 83 years of Whitman formerly of Brockton, died Thursday November 22, 2007, at her home. She was the wife for 50 years of the late William G. Fraser. Born and raised in Manchester, England a daughter of the late Beatrice and Walter Nicholson. She met her husband during WWII in England and came to the US as a War bride. She resided in Brockton for many years before moving to Whitman in 1987. For many years she worked at Sears and Roebuck on the West side of Brockton. She was an avid knitter, enjoyed traveling back to England and helped to raise her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son Donald Fraser and his wife Christine of Hanover and a daughter Gayle A. Frazier with whom she made her home in Whitman. Nana to Katie Frazier, Brian and his wife Jaclyn Fraser-Swan, Brittany Fraser, Joseph Prosper and David Prosper; one great grand daughter Audrey Fraser-Swan and several nieces, a nephew and cousins in England.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Sunday 2-5pm with a Prayer Service at 3pm. Donations in Mona’s name may be made to Old Colony Hospice, One Credit Union Way, Randolph, MA 02368, for online donations click here
