Monique Cesar, 79, of Brockton, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Born February 24, 1939 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti she was a daughter of the late Edgar Cesar and Alice Joseph. Monique was raised and educated in Haiti. She owned and operated her own retail store in Haiti. Monique enjoyed to cook and cater to her family and friends. She loved taking trips with her Church group. She also enjoyed dancing. She is survived by her children, Nadine Francois, Jennifer Blanc, Ferlande Laguerre, Jeremiah Francois, Gerald Francois and Jayda Grace Denis. She is also survived by her many grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton at 10:00AM on Saturday, November 24th. Interment to follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the funeral home on Friday from 4:00PM-8:00PM.
