Obituary

Monique E. (Antil) Nerbonne age 88 of Brockton died February 17, 2020 at Southeast Rehabilitation Center after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Jean Raymond Nerbonne.

Monique was born and raised in New Bedford a daughter of the late Joseph and Claire (LeBlond) Antil and was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in New Bedford. She had lived in Brockton since 1957.

For many years Monique had been a waitress at Christos Restaurant. In her free time she enjoyed music, animals, sports especially golf and gardening around her yard.

Monique will be remembered as being a good soul to all and always willing to lend a helping hand. She dedicated her life to her family and loved ones. Her family will be eternally grateful that Monique was a part of their lives.

Monique was the mother of Jeannine Nerbonne and Raymond Nerbonne both of Brockton and grandmother of Jessica Montrond, Jeremy Nerbonne, Jennifer Scherer and Laura Tiplady. She also leaves several great grandchildren. She was the sister of Robert Antil of New Bedford, Sister Aline Antil, CSC of Florida and the late Teresa Forand, Roland Antil, Yvette Vaudry, Lorraine Ferreira, Cecile Benjamin, and Paul Antil. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 5-7pm with a Funeral Service at 7pm.
