Murdock “Ken” Kennedy, 93 years of Brockton died Friday at St. Joseph’s Manor following a lengthy illness. He was the husband for 61 years of Helen M. (deGrandmont) Kennedy.
Born and raised in Brockton, son of the late Angus D. and Lena A. (Durning) Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy had remained a lifelong resident of the city. During WW II he served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theatre. He retired from Proctor and Gamble Company in Quincy after 27 years, previously he worked at Campello Shank. Member of the VFW post 1046, Brockton. He was a champion bowler and enjoyed dancing.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Sharon H. Robinson of Brockton,Carol M. Drew of Brockton and a son, James F. Kennedy of W. Bridgewater, four grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Brother of the late A J Kennedy, Ret. Lt. Col., and Jessie Pendergrace.

Graveside Services were held this morning in the family lot in Calvary Cemetery.
