Muriel R. (Staples) Hathaway, 92, of Raynham passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Wilfred L. Hathaway and the former wife of the late Robert C. Prime. Born July 3, 1929 in Brockton, MA she was the daughter of the late Everett and Beatrice (Hoxie) Staples. She was employed for over 20 years and retired from Sears in Brockton. She was involved with the West Bridgewater Council on Aging, like to craft and to travel. She is survived by a son, Douglas Prime and wife Noreen of Bridgewater and a daughter, Pamela Hagianis and husband John of Derry, New Hampshire ; grandchildren, Sarah Prime, Robert Prime, Jonathan Prime, Nick Hagianis and Mark Hagianis; great grandchild, Maeve Botelho. She was also the sister of the late Malcolm Staples, Claire Bishop, Dorothy Perry and Shirley Ward. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 10th at 12:00PM. Private cremation will follow. Visitation will be prior to the service on Tuesday from 11:00AM to 12:00PM.
