Aucoin of Brockton November 11, 2002 Myron J. Aucoin 82 years. Husband of the late Frances A. (Olsen) Aucoin. Father of William M. Aucoin of Athol and Ean S. Aucoin of Anchorage, Alaska.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday December 14 from 1-4 pm at the Holiday Inn in Brockton. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 1115 W. Chestnut St. #301, Brockton, MA 02301.

Obituary

Myron J. Aucoin 82 years of Brockton died Monday at the Embassy House Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Frances A. (Olsen) Aucoin.Mr. Aucoin was born and raised in Greenville, Maine son of the late William and Mary (Gallant) Aucoin and has been a resident of Brockton since 1956.During WW II he served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theatre and received the Purple Heart.

For many years Mr. Aucoin was an inspector for the MDC and previously worked on road construction. Most recently he was a courier for Transcom in Brockton.Mr. Aucoin was a member of VFW Post 1046 in Brockton.

He is survived by two sons William M. Aucoin of Athol and Ean S. Aucoin of Anchorage, Alaska, two brothers Victor Aucoin of Assonet and Urban Aucoin of Stockholm, Maine and many nieces and nephews
