Taylor of Brockton and the late Edwin and Walter Taylor. Sister of Charles Thayer of Brockton. Mother in law of Myra, Evelyn, Gail and Linda.
Funeral Service in the Warren Avenue Baptist Church, corner of Warren and Market Street, Brockton, Tuesday at 10 am. Burial in Northville Cemetery, E. Bridgewater. Visiting hours in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday 4-8 pm. Donations in Myrtle's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1115 W. Chestnut St.,#301, Brockton, MA 02301.
Obituary
Mrs. Taylor died Thursday at her home following a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Hanson, daughter of the late Edwin and Lillian (Hammond) Thayer. For the past 57 years she’s been a Brockton resident and she was a homemaker in her home. Mrs. Taylor enjoyed traveling, knitting, crossword puzzles and stamp collecting and she also loved gardening around her yard. Long time member of Warren Avenue Baptist Church in Brockton .
She is survived by three sons, George A. Taylor of Middleboro; Richard D. Taylor of Cornelia, GA; and Paul S. Taylor of Brockton, a brother Charles Thayer of Brockton, three daughter in laws, Myra, Evelyn, Gail and Linda Thayer, 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
