In 1944, Belle graduated from Dudley High School in Greensboro, North Carolina. As a young adult she moved to Brockton, Massachusetts where she met the love of her life. In 1951 she married Army Veteran Roland Williams and together they had 4 children; the late Roland Williams Jr, the late Ronald Williams, Vanessa Williams and AC Williams.
Belle worked as a Seamstress at Romay Garment until she retired. Even then she continued making clothes. Belle enjoyed spending time with her family; the barbeques, traveling to the reunions, and playing cards with them on Friday nights. She also enjoyed playing Bonanza with the girls and going with her friend Maggie on day trips with the Senior Group from Davis Commons.
Shortly after her 99th birthday on the 7th of December, an angel came, called her name, and our beloved Belle ascended to heaven.
