Hamnquist of Brockton, July 18, 2003, Nancy R. (Davies) Hamnquist, 72 years. Loving wife of Philip C. Hamnquist. Beloved mother of Tammi Davies, Kathryn Dodennoff and her husband William and Scott Hamnquist all of Brockton and Nancy Beck and her husband Joseph of Norton. Devoted grandmother of Joseph, Christopher, Ryan and Stephanie. Aunt of “Chickie” Newport and Peter Minerva.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 10 am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6 pm. Donations in Nancy’s memory may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Obituary

Mrs. Hamnquist died unexpectedly Friday morning at her home. Born in Foxboro, daughter of the late Willard and Gladys (Mais) Davies. Resident of Brockton for the past 55 years.

At the time of her death, she was employed by McMenamy’s Seafood on Belmont Street in Brockton for many years. She was was a devoted Red Sox fan and also enjoyed traveling.

Survived by her husband of 41 years, Philip C. Hamnquist, 3 daughters, Tammi Davies, Kathryn Dodennoff and her husband William both of Brockton and Nancy Beck and her husband Joseph of Norton and a son, Scott Hamnquist of Brockton, 4 grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher, Ryan and Stephanie, a niece “Chickie” Newport and a nephew Peter Minerva.
