Obituary

Natalia Elia Mary Yovanos, 68, of Attleboro, passed away at Milton Hospital on May 16, 2025 surrounded by close friends.

Born and raised in Brockton, Natalia graduated from BHS in 1975. She went on to work as an office manager for Del Monte before going on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from the prestigious Wellesley College in 1996. She then worked as an English teacher and ESL Program Administrator for many years.

Predeceased by her parents, Elias and Stana Yovanos, her beloved aunt Amanda aka Tetka Mande, her late uncle and aunt Dr. and Mrs. Broncho Dinic, and her cousin Nelli.

Survived by her sister, Helen Guarino, her niece Kathy and nephew, David and family, all of California and cousins Crystal and Justin.

Natalia was also loved by many close friends and including Jane Coderre of Brockton, Dr. Les Weiser of Wellesley, Vlasta Kalcic of Croatia and her son Roger Kalcic of Nashville, TN and her godchild, Stephanie White of Dallas, TX.

Natalia was an avid reader and lover of classical art, literature, and film. A self-proclaimed Anglophile, she traveled to England many times and admired the people, culture and landmarks. She also loved animals, adopting many dogs and cats over the years, including her beloved Mercedes, Lady, Tracie, Lilly, Lacie, Toby, Petunia and Zoe.

Calling hours on Friday, May 23rd in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton from 10:30AM to 11:00AM followed by a funeral service in the church at 11:00AM.  Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
