Nicholas "Nicky" Bertocci Nicholas "Nicky" Bertocci , 80, of West Bridgewater and formerly of Brockton, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. He was the husband of the late Josephine (Brazil) Bertocci. Born September 23, 1927 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Nicholas Bertocci and Anna (Patricelli) Bertocci. Raised in Brockton, he attended Brockton Schools before entering the United States Merchant Marines and then serving in the United States Army. Mr. Bertocci worked for Avon Sole and then went to work with the Campanelli Brothers for 50 years. He enjoyed playing softball for local teams and was an Avid Red Sox fan. He has been a West Bridgewater resident for the last 40 years and was a member of the Bertocci Memorial Club in Brockton. He is survived by his sister, Eleanor "Ellie" Costa and her husband and Nick's best friend, Louis Costa of Brockton, Dominic "Muzzy" Bertocci of Ipswich, and Anna Bertocci of Brockton; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was the brother of the late Stephen Bertocci, Charles "Tut" Bertocci, Albert Bertocci, Doris Pecci, and Maryann Loud. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, June 2nd at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Sunday 4:00-8:00PM.
